An opportunity to join with HCC Environment volunteers and CBA Wessex FOAM volunteers to tackle the rampant vegetation on Danebury’s ramparts.  Left unchecked the brambles and hawthorn damage the monument and hide its best features. Gentle clearance can only take place from October to March, so as not to interfere with nesting birds.

The next two sessions are 15 November and 20 December – 10.30am to 3.30pm. If the weather forecast is bad – we don’t do it.
