This index draws together the authors’ names and titles of articles, classified into broad subject areas and periods, for all the publications given in the Table.
All substantive articles in these publications have been listed, with the exception of editorials, book reviews, ephemeral news, etc. The abbreviation MF denotes microfiche pages for the article. Square brackets indicate wording supplied by the compiler, usually to elucidate the subject matter of the article.
The only Hampshire Field Club publications not included are the Bird Reports, issued by the Ornithological Section, which became an independent society in 1979.
Also included in this index are Rescue Archaeology in Hampshire, published by the South Hampshire Archaeological Rescue Group between 1972 and 1978, and New Forest History and Archaeology Group Reports, the successor to the HFCAS New Forest Section Reports. This is published by the New Forest History and Archaeology Group, which succeeded the New Forest Section of HFCAS in 2008.
