- Christchurch in Stokes Road. Our morning talks and AGM took place in the hall which is situated behind the church.
- Gosport Discovery Centre. This houses the town museum which we visited during the afternoon.
- Georgian buildings in Gosport High Street which survived the bombing during the Second World War.
- A fine “Art Deco” building which now houses the Gosport Naval and Local Studies Library and Search a hands-on centre for school children and families.
- What remains of Gosport’s Thornton Theatre (1796-1826).
- St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in the High Street.
- A memorial in the Roman Catholic Church to the exiled Queen Maria Francisca of Spain who died in Gosport in 1834.
- Holy Trinity Church dating from 1696.
